Yup, too much food and water readily available and the critters are moving at night. The rubs are there, the sign is there, they just don't show during the day. The weather is the culprit, no doubt. You needed to be setup, prior to first light (waiting for light of course) on a known active trail.
My brother got nothing this year, and spent near 200 hours in the woods between all the seasons, including a 12 day venture in Maine. |
