Hi,

FYI if someone is interested.

That is Gudebrod HTA pearl metallic thread as the underwraps. Over a black/graphite blank it normally turns a shade of gray.

After masking off the wraps I scuff up the area and clean with 91% isopropyl alcohol.

Then the area gets coated with 2 coats of Rust-oleum Painters Touch Flat White latex paint. *** any flat white will do. Let dry overnight.

White area gets coated with Flex Coat color sealer preserver. This places a hard coating over the white paint so that when the pull thru loop is pulled under the wrap the white paint won't come off.

Then I wrap white nylon or metallic thread as the underwrap.
