The happier the wife is the longer I get to fish.
Funny, all of the single guys who going on fishing and golf weekends always want me to go and I explain to them that what ever it costs them it costs us married guys at least double. I figure to go golf 18 holes on a Saturday afternoon Would cost me $100 between the golf, beer, lunchand cigars.
I would have to throw my wife at least $100 to take my daughter shopping for the afternoon so she too would have something to do.
That is why I fish. On the water by 4am, get 5 hours of fishing in, smoke 2-3 Cigars, have a six pack and am still home by 10am. The rest of the family is just getting the day started. |
