Marilyn Jean Charters Hope this storm don't scare em away

Open boat trip today and one disapointed angler missed the boat due to a work issue. So we set out with 5 and expected the worst from the weather and got the best, Light wind and calm seas . The calm before the storm I guess. The Togs cooperated as well with 6 lines in the water we landed 53 nice keepers. on green and white crabs in the deeper water. Capt. Romeo brought his A game today landing 15 Nice fish , keeping a few for the table. Bob had over a dozen keeping his limit and Steve had 10 to 8lbs. Bob got 6 nice tog while Danny had 5. Avery came on late but pulled 6 off the last drop with the pool 9.5 lbr. A great group of guys everyone had a blast enjoying the mild day.

Glad you had a good trip and the weather was favorable.
Who knows if we'll ever really get a winter this year.

Hi Capt,

25 nw means its time to rest up or build a rod.

Just got nice pics from Rob about the 10 3/4# tog he caught with Capt Romeo at the wheel. These guys are using the M model. I am surprised. I thought they would gravitate to the MH. Personally I prefer the M. The LI Sound guys go for the MH as they won't give the tog a fighting chance. Ha, ha!

Capt Pete had me trim the tip of the M about 4" and then extend the butt. He kicks butt with that rod.

Time for you to build your M!!!

Stay warm.

Capt Neil

Tony,
Four days without a report? What's going on. You on vacation or something?

Stay safe. I'm sure you can find the fish on a better day than the last couple.
Wind howling here and cold.
Good Luck!
