New Metal @ A.O.K. Tackle

From testing and tweaking the action in the warm waters of the Delaware River this past summer.....to real life fishing conditions at Cape Cod and the Jersey shore this past fall......
Here's A.O.K. Tackle's version of the "Slab Spoon".....
Something I've always wanted to make, to mimic the "fuller" bodied baitfish such as peanut bunker and butterfish.
Introducing,
the PB-40, P-Nut Bunker Spoon.
1.8oz.
21/4L x 7/8W x 5/16 thick(lure body)
In "Classic Chrome" and "Stealth BlackStardust" finishes
and,as with the T-HEX,made from Solid Brass!

The results on the stripers and blues were quite encouraging!
Hoping to have them available at the Berkeley and Asbury,NJ shows in March.

I really like that dark one.
How much will these sell for?
Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Nice, real nice. I'll be picking up some of these very soon, to toss at the local critters in LIS.

Can'nt wait to get one of the black ones Steve. Been useing the chrome demo since Oct. in C.C. and in N.J. UP till the end of Jan. Works great on top with a quick retrive, and down deeper on a slower retrive. Caught fish both ways!

Might be a stupid question but how do these come through the water, on there side (thick side up perpendicular to the surface) or flat (thick side parallel to the surface) ?

I've been doing some testing off the wharf myself .

Thanks guys....
B&M.....probably in the $7.50 range.....
TJ......
They ride in the water heavy side down. The heavy side created by the 2 side angles up to the top flat.Kinda like a keel.So in the topview pic... that's how the fish will see it from underneath, that side towards the ocean floor. The wide profile....like a struggling/dieing bait fish that swims on its side. The front angle acts like a lip.Gives it a nice wobbling action on a steady retrieve.Give the rod tip a jerk and it does a nice dart to the side.Hope that helped explain the action

Nice Steve. I like the shape. Sounds like the action is right-on.
