I thought that might have been a typo or misunderstanding. Reporters always like to mess up the fine details that the layman would just overlook.

I am a certified teacher. I teach Technology Education at the high school level, basically a glorified shop teacher.
This year myself and a science teacher started a course called Marine Science and Technology. It covers anyting related to the marine environment and industry. He does the science related stuff and I back it up with related activities ranging from boat building, trap building all the way to the construction of a scientific organism collection device or the FISHING ROD. This is the first year with the course and we are still working out the bugs. If you know of any companies that would be willing to help out with this course, let me know.
I have had tons of help from a local baitshop that many peple in our area know and love. The guys at Rivers End Tackle in Old Saybrook have helped us out plenty and I can't thank them enough.
Any more questions, feel free to ask.

Bryan
