Just about posted this in the lures area, spent sometime there and realized I'd get some points if I did that there. ( points is something you get on another little site for doing stupid things like posting on the wrong board. Dipshit to steal the phrase)

Got involved with the white seabass program here in Newport Beach, CA. It's a grow-out facility run in conjunction with Hubbs-Seaworld Research. They spawn them, send them out to 12 different grow-out pens in the socal area and we grow them the extra inches. Here's some shots of cleaning the pens in prep for a arrival, probably in 3-4 weeks. Will have to do another clean before then, as well as some building of some oversized dock boxes, have to put a gas powered water pump and a generator on the pen. The pen is on a mooring about 300' from shore. Hope I get the volunteers to help that I thought I figured I'd get!

Oh, by the way, each pen (4) can hold about 1500 fry.

Be quiet everyone, this is a library.

Went up to another pen last weekend in Oxnard, 111 miles away and this is what happened. I think you have to sign up to see the pics, but hey, more fishing talk and boards to look at fish. Besides, with all the lures and poppers on this board you need to spend some time this way selling some of them. A customer base that never has enough tackle and rods and reels and boats, and............................................
