Chuck, In the first photo on the bottom left, the wire leader with swivels.
I've thought of using something similar and have yet to put it together.
My thought was a sleeve and swivel at one end and on the other end a sleeve small enough to slide through egg sinkers. A swivel on main line could clip to the wire loop. This way adjusting weight for various depths where using more line is impractical, you would simply unclip line and add / remove egg sinkers to vary depth. I've got some real small sleeves but haven't check to see if they go through the eggs when wire is crimped in them.
Good swivels eliminate the need for a Keel in my experience and we've fished tubes going on 20 years. Also keels seem to be weed magnets.
I also like the weights to be approx 4' ahead of the tube when possible.
