| Quit Smoking I had to Quit smoking before my Dr. would schedule my surgery.A friend of ours told us about this new medication.I said I'd give it a try.Now I've smoked for close to 40 years and 2 packs a day for most of that.I've tried to Quit numerous times with no luck.Today I have been smoke free since late December 2006.I took this medication for 2 and a half months .Now I'm not using it anymore .OH and My wife smoked as much as I did and she also used the medication and is now smoke free .Most insurance providers cover it .Call yours and see .Good Luck to all who try it .http://www.chantix.com So if nothing else comes out good from my surgery the fact that I quit smoking did .  |

| CONGRATU-FRIGGIN-LATIONS!!!! That's the toughest thing my wife and I ever did - we went cold turkey about 15 years ago - Wait till about 2 years after - all that nonsense about tasting food becomes a reality - I can pick out the slightest spices in a sauce, etc... Your sense of smell is going to increase 10 (20?) fold!!! (Here's hoping yer dear wife is not overly flatulent....) Oh - The dreams....the GD dreams!!! Dreaming of smoking, and convincing yourself in that dream that it's ok cuz you don't smoke anymore...and waking up thanking god it was only a dream, you didn't blow it again!!! again....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That's a double-tough feat!! |

| Well Thankyou to those who congratulated me .But thew purpose of this post was to the person who is still smoking and wants to quit.This medicine really works.My cravings were gone within the second week of taking it .And if you cheat a bit during the process thats OK start over again as soon as you throw it away.so here's the web site again http://www.chantix.com |

| Congratulations on your accomplishment. I'm going to give them a try. My better half wants me to quit. I've tried the patch, it worked for a while but I'd get a rash wherever I put the damn thing. Then the doctor prescribed me some butrin type of drug. That really didnt work. I've cut down alot maybe 1/2 pack a day. So now its time FOREVER. THANKS FOR THE LINK. Will let you know how it works, I was going to go cold turkey. My wife dosn't smoke so its time I QUIT FOR GOOD.
