| striper cup just communicated with chris megan from on the water magazine. i suggested he try to get a weigh station for that tourney on the mystic river. currently the closest to us on the mystic is j&b in niantic, too far for me. i know i would pass on the trip to niantic to participate in the cup. however, this season long tournament with great prizes would get my attention if i had a more convenient weigh station. is it an inconvenience to bait & tackle shops to participate? would chris @ nymans or allen @ shafers be interested? just seems we'll be targeting more stripers with the expected restrictions coming to our beloved summer flounder, so why not make it a little more interesting?? just a late winter thought..................mk |
