flounder opener??

anybody find any action this past weekend, I went from shore a few places and didn't see anyone!! Is it still worth it?

I got a few in the groton area at the tail end of the incoming tide from shore on sandworms

My buddy and I went out of Startford and picked a few up on sandoworms. One was a real nice size. At first i thought it was a fluke. ... Good luck to all...

they are out there, you just have to put in your time to get them. I find that when the bite slows, switching from sandworms to clams sometimes helps. If that doesn't work then a spot change always helps as well. I usually give a spot no more than 4 hours of time. if it doesn't produce then on to the next spot.

It seems Groton/Niantic area is pretty good shot right now. Anyone want to offers some flounder tips? It has been years since I last tried that.
