The best part of this top is that it is made for the boat. It is not some off the shelf thing stuck on there. If you compare the look, quality, options of a custom top with an off the shelf it doesn't even compare. Sure you could plop a top on there for the cheap but start adding rod holders, lights, any color canvas you want, wiring through the pipe, etc and your price is about the same with the off the shelf units. The off the shelf will never look like it is made for the boat. It simply looks like it was made for every boat. I don't think they can weld rod holders on my leaning post from New Jersey or whereever they are either.
I sent a picture to a guy at work here who told me I was crazy to put a T-top on my boat because it would get in the way fishing and he couldn't believe how it looked. He said if fit the hull shape perfectly.
