Hooked New kid on the block...

Hello all! This looks to be a great board and look forward to posting and contributing. I looked around before joining and saw ALOT of experienced posts here. I live in Pompano Beach , Fl. and have been on the water pretty much my whole life. Worked on Shrimp boats in Ga., ran a ferry boat between islands in GA. and ran a couple of sightseening/fishing charter boats there as well. Was very fortunate and documented all my sea time and was able to get my 100 ton Capt. License. Since moving to Pompano Beach a little over 11 years ago, I have enjoyed the excellent fishing this place has to offer. Between work and family it's hard to hit the offshore waters on every off day but I manage. I have a 22' cuddy called the Outatime and serves quite well as family boat as well as offshore trolling. I look forward to talking with all of you. Tight lines! Shawn

Smile 2007 summer season

Thanks for the welcome! This weekend we are fishing a little tourny here , the 2007 Dolphin Brawl. It's a smaller tournament thats being held the same time as the Saltwater Shootout which is really for the big boys who invest a couple thousand dollars to fish in the tourny, of course you can win a Hummer, boats etc,etc....but I think I'll stick with the smaller tourny's so that the fun factor is not lost.
Tight lines! Shawn
