Striper Fishing Upper Narragansett Bay 6-8

Started today early leaving from Warwick Neck at 5:40. Picked up about 30 pogies snagging in Greenwich Cove. Then went up to Konimicut Light looking for bass. Found a couple stripers just east of the channel south of Pawtuxet cove. Picked up 2 fish 1 at 30" and one at 33". Not big but good eating size. Bite was good until the slack tide then it turned off.

Sounds like our last several trips there....once the tide slacks it gets real difficult....turns on again if you wait it out......

We'll probably try again Sunday, but I don't expect to hang around TOO long, as I want to spend some time flukin too.
