Tuna( the lack of)

HI all went looking for "Charlie" (Tuna) Over the Kettle ground , Sagadahoc, Platts , Jeffries south to the fingers. (Stick boat Compromise) Visibility about 100 yds. 1 ft ripple. Crappy no vis. Bait, all up inside, from Bald head to Kettle grnd. Very little bait on Platts, Jeffries. No big balls of herring. Stopped to jig and Picked up some Haddock, Cod and one nice Cusk. Didn't see One Tuna, running, Jumping ro on the sounder!!

Will give it a few days.

Don

Nice to hear a report from ya!!

I went out for the first time today with nothing but a few small fluke. No biggie we weren't that serious anyway. I wish I had a mental reference to all those places you talk about, hint hint. The wife and kids are away for the first two weeks in july. Hint hint. Good Luck for next time.

Don, Stick with it. I'm sure when they show, you'll be waiting for them.

Only a matter of time now before they start showing.
You'll get 'em next time.
Always nice to get some groundfish, though. Just not quite as good as tuna

The bait will come back on the ledges now that the mid-waters aren't working it. Then the tuna will come.
