Dave, trying to decide now between East or the bank. Watching these wave heights and wind speeds. Lokks like the wind wave is going to settle down but there should be a pretty big swell riding in for a while.

Hey Bob. It's east or bust for us. I hear about you about the conditions but my bet is that it will be OK. Give a shout if you're out there, Dave

Heading to the Bank in a.m. At least giving it a try. Looks like the winds should be minimal, but a good swell for the the day. I'd rather give it a shot and turn around if needed than wonder what could have been...

We boated a 57" bft on Saturday east of Chatham. There was alot of catching going on out there. We're somewhat new to the "out east" game and only got one but that was fine with us. First tuna trip, first fish! Is it Friday yet? Dave

Sounds like folks did well east of chatham. on the NW corner Saturday. A lot of bluefish & weed, but no tuna. On the SE corner Sunday and nothing happening fishwise. The bait and whales were undescribable. Never seen anything like it. Miles and miles of bait and whales feeding. Every direction you looked there were whales bubble feeding, leaping completely out of the water, and rolling through the bait. Wish I had a video camera. Perfect conditions, but no tuna...quite a few frustrated boats out there. Gave up and went home around noon only to have a malfuntioning auto bilge. 4 hours later after trying to match incorrectly spliced wires, squeeze into a hole half my size, and many bruises...problem fixed.

Itching to put this year's first tuna in the boat...

Your time will come Edgewater. Just gotta pay homage to the fishgods. At least your out there.

Can't catch them up 40' on an extension ladder staining your house like me this weekend. I will be east or on the bank this coming weekend and the rest of the summer. Spooling up the 30's and 50's tonight.

Good luck to everone.
