Hey chuck are you talking about the small dime size metal piece stuck to the back of the stern right next to the gas port its a 77 Gradywhite gulfstream...I did see gas fumes coming out when I added about 9 gal of Regular on Sunday morning coming from that vent but I'll check it . As for fuel it had between quarter and a half left (regular 89 Octance) in it over the winter that I treated with stabilizer. I was trying to run out that old stuff before I added new gas but I dont even trust that needle thats why I added 9 gallons on sunday so I wouldn't get suck out there. I was also told by one of the clerks in Boaters world in orange to change the fuel/water seporater and he recommend putting this fuel enzyme in to gas and flush that through then move up the high grade gasoline. I didn't know the exact fitting for my fuel filter 5/16 or 3/8 so I have to go back and check.
