definitely change your filters. you should be doing this every year anyway. more frequently than that depending on hours.

then run on a test tank. that is how you know if the problem is inside the motor (carbs/spark/throttle asmbly/etc.) or outside (vent/anti-siphon/bad lines/etc.)

don't drain your tank if you don't have to.

fwiw it doesn't sound like bad gas to me.

btw, did you run the stabilizer through the engine after you stabilized your gas?
