We fished Monday too, maiden voyage on our new boat "Tuna Fever", which is a 2004 26ft Stiegercraft. Landed 9 fish up to 58 inches. Had three sets of doubles and 15 bites. All 6 rods got bit! The spread was working well. Went out again on Tuesday afternoon and went 2 for 5 at the BC bouy. Small fish but still fun. I am really pleased with the new O\B boat. I was alittle worried about her not raising fish as well as my "Tammy Rose" but she worked out just fine. You know you got it going on when the tuna are eating the short corner baits. Green\brown, pinks, and blacks have been the hottest colors for me in three trips. Will be out east Sat through Mon. Good luck to those who go. Capt. Eric |
