Wink 8-16............Stellwagen

Left Green Harbor just behind Relentless this morning. Up on the bank at daybreak, find the bait, find the whales. Pretty good showing of boats, mostly well-behaved. #1 took a dark bar about 150' back, nice 52" fish released quickly (forgot the da*n tagging kit). #2 smacked a bar right in close, first in-tight hit I've had in a while. That was 46" and looked beat so it was bled and iced. #3 grabbed a long dark bar from the left rigger and kept on going. Unfortunatly without the line attached as the scissor swivel had opened (probably my carelessness for not checking it as I was resetting the spread).
What little wind we had to start the day died , the sun poked through the clouds and shut the bite off pretty quickly.
Had a nice visit with another charter captain and his crew while unsucsessfully trying to pull charlie up from down deep. Boat was back and washed before noon.

Dave will attest that I passed him at the 7 mile point (hey, I can cruise at 30) and was lines in before he made the western edge. He probably still outfished me, something about the tortiose and the hare perhaps?

LOL good reply! hahahahaha

You sure didn't pass him in that damn channel, unless they finished dredging it LOL.

Same thing is happening at Allen Harbor where Inheritance is kept......

At low tide, it's strictly 1 boat at a time....at high, it's still damn tight.....one false move.....and.......

Hubby & Wife were on the boat waiting for the tide to come back in while Seatow's office is right there on the corner in the background......

Hard grounding = salvage......I'd wait too!

Outfish Bob?

I don't think so, I was surprised to see four boats at the bank after being off the dock at 0430. It was a good day by all and actually it has been a great week. Trust me Eric, Bob puts his time in and deserves every fish he catches. I am not so sure I would want to tackle these fish solo like some of the guys do.

Without a doubt his reports along with Terry's are all truth and NBS. Now it is time for bed, I am seeing two screens here adn last night I was typing a report with eyes closed falling asleep. It looked like a second grader wrote it.

Bob,
Very cool buddy. I need to make it up there again and join you some time as I really enjoyed our day of hardtails and bass many moons ago. Plus I still need to see that sick Formula you now own. I am 0-1 on my boat up there and 0-1 on a friends boat the next week but he did manage a nice 46" fish butterly jigging on the bank.
