What have you got to say about the topic of: "Last minute cancellation....". Here's how is started: "Anyone want to go sharking with capt. Dom tommorrow? I had a cancellation(got the deposit "

| Friday morning, and the livings easy... Finally got to fish on my own for a change Had no last minute takers, so me and my boy Kevin headed out to the mudhole, for some early morning fun. Had heard of a giant or two landed, so patrolled from the north tip of the hole south from 5:30am to 6:30, pulling 4 bars and two bird green machine combos...no takers, no signs of surface feed. Headed SSE a few miles, and spotted a fat mako sitting on the surface off the port bow. Powered down, threw him some chunks to keep him interested, and baited him up on the 30 with a bluefish fillet. We beat this fish up, and 21 minutes later, a nice 69" mako(FL) estimated at 150 or so was bleeding out, tailed off to the boat. Didn't use any of my chum buckets, or bait, except for the lone bluefish and 1 mackeral chunked up! ![]() Decided to troll around a bit more, but no takers except for one light pickup we thought maybe was a bluefish. Headed back to the dock at 8:15, boat cleaned and gear stowed, drinking coffee and reading the paper by10:30!
