LOL. Dave, havn't you heard, lead will kill you !!!Dam I'm overdue!!. This is what i use 13', lead weighted, watertight, floating!! no tag line. With 2 fathom leaders fishing solo or with 1 mate, no wireman. Reel up to the swivel, let him do his spiral, place the poon down about 6' and steer it to him.!! Never have to throw. This one has earned its keep!!This was home made in 1979 or 80. Tape just below the bowline.
