| There are still people flying kites off of PH but most of the action for GBFT has moved to SW corner. A good number of fish were taken last week some very large giants. Not sure about bass but the bluefish are still around in good numbers right off of the lighthouse outside of the drop off |

| Last Sunday at PH Last sun we left plymouth Harbor at 2:00Am when the bars closed, hit the race by 4:ish and trolled around and picked up some blues. At first light we hit the SW corner and got a 90lb bft within 10 minutes on a silvery/gray squidbar with metalic speckles. The bite was over by 7AM. We went and set up at PH and floated bluefish on kites (the $2.99 spiderman/Benny's kite works just fine) but after 6 hrs+ headed back in with just the 1 fish from earlier.

| Why so many using kites now? Balloons used to work pretty darn well back when we did it.

| The kites are used to keep the baits right on the surface. This keeps you away from the dogfish blues, as doggies rearley will come up and pop a bluefish on the surface......and when the giants hit the fish..BAM!!! |

| I fished PH on last Tuesday(no bite for us), and there were more fish landed there than on the SWC...I had a buddy sitting and rotting on the SWC all day while we saw 6 bites and 4 landed fish, all between 400-800 pounds, with only 10 boats anchored up. There are definitely still fish there, as again yesterday my buddy nailed a 600, and had another bite, both in the afternoon, both on kite bluefish. He tried letting out a big blue with a balloon, but the doggies found it and left him a skeleton. There was also a monster mako of 750 pound class taken somewhere out there, what a fish, I saw it over at Floyd's place in the truck next to a couple of 350 ish plugs. Lots of life it seems up tyhat way.
