I fished PH on last Tuesday(no bite for us), and there were more fish landed there than on the SWC...I had a buddy sitting and rotting on the SWC all day while we saw 6 bites and 4 landed fish, all between 400-800 pounds, with only 10 boats anchored up. There are definitely still fish there, as again yesterday my buddy nailed a 600, and had another bite, both in the afternoon, both on kite bluefish. He tried letting out a big blue with a balloon, but the doggies found it and left him a skeleton.
There was also a monster mako of 750 pound class taken somewhere out there, what a fish, I saw it over at Floyd's place in the truck next to a couple of 350 ish plugs. Lots of life it seems up tyhat way. |
