Thanks guys - The warm welcome means a lot to me -

THe trial of independance went well - was able to launch the boat and manage her all by me onesie - Left THursday afternoon/eve - Whatta ride. Perfect weather across the sound, no wind, tide was slack low.

One of the sayings that I've held close, and was a thorn in my bible thumping (ex) wifes side, was "Some men go to church and think about fishing, and some men go fishing and think about God"

I mention this because as I was traversing the sound on that nearly perfect evening, I took a moment to think about such a gift, and said "thank you" to the big fella - But as it turned out, the best was yet to come! As I neared the mouth of the cut into Little Naggy Bay, a boofinch blitz of monumental proportions erupted in front of me...Backed off the throttles and bumped the motors into neutral, flew down the ladder from the bridge and grabbed a rod rigged with a Point Jude Po-gee tin - one cast and game-on!!! BIG gators crashing bunker. It didn't last long though, I was hoping that the water would be scattered with bunker bits, which would have meant large stripers slurping up the remains, but it was a short chatter and they were gone, minus the one 11 pounder that I hooked into....released to fight another day.

Again -
THanks for the welcome - defintely will be around now that the dust is settling...

And Striperchaser, we'll talk later as the machinery gets spinning, good to see you aboard!
