Im sorry for the late response, I think your season ends today? But the day in this thread the drift was like 0.7 there was very little wind and no current.
But on an average where 1.4 to 1.7 .
In the Hudson by the Ambrose Channel is where she really rips. Sometimes you need 8 to 10 0z just to bounce a bait back. Not unusual for it to run 2.7 and higher. No jigs there but some really big fish. Good area for the eels in the fall to.
