Nope, no pogies, but there were blues everywhere. Not chasing big pogies, most likely peanut bunker. I'm sure the bass were mixed in the schools, but I really don't feel like bothering with blues (& losing gear) unless I am looking for shark bait LOL

So, we got the boat warmed up for ya to try out your new Tog rig

Alloy, there's definitely big ones there. Broke a few monsters off/lost a few to the rocks......they're the ones that pull your line sideways as they make a mad dash for a hole LOL.....they got that big for a reason

Pat, your day with the bass sounds like ours LOL

plug, Brenton area was loaded with boats. Not sure how they were doing. Boats anchored at Whale Rock weren't doing anything when we were drifting eels there. Bunch of boats anchored south of Varnum. Didn't see how they were doing.
