I don't know if what is attributed to Andy was really said by him but I can tell you from personal experience this guy can drink some bourbon. I was drinking with him at a party on the night of the first Bush Gore debate. After about a fifth of Makers Mark he went to cover the debate for 60 minutes. Did a hell of a job from what I saw. Except for the messed up hair, the squinty eyes and the loose tie you'd never know he was just coming back from sipping some of Kentucky's finest.
