Most of the media wants us to believe that... or at least to resign to that mindset. What's sad about the media, is that it's original mission used to be to inform people, where today, it's mission is to indoctrinate them. At what point will people stand up and say ENOUGH... it begs the answer to Brads original question:
Are we that stupid?... the media thinks we are.
Radical change needs to place in our Nation, and it needs to begin in the minds of each of us. People need to rally together for positive change to be possible.
What's bizarre is that many of us are on the same page, ... but in different books. There is consensus on many of the issues, and talented and brilliant people who can solve them, but the majority of those who share the same sentiments are too afraid to stand up, and come together as a constituency, and thus, the status quo prevails. Whether my vote counts or not is not as relevant to the fact that I still have a choice! and a vote!...
If enough of us would wake up and vote our conscience rather than allowing ourselves to be herded by the media, or minsets placed in us by them, things would indeed change.
All I know is that things aren't getting better, and the media isn't helping America.
On the contrary, it is tearing us apart.
When is enough... enough?
None of us should ever surrender our vote to the media, or public opinion.
Too many of our boys gave their lives for us to hold a ballot.
It sickens me to think of how many people lack the common sense or regard for what they are holding in their hands on election day, and the precious price that was paid for it.
Those who don't show up to vote represent the spineless wimps, casualties of conscience, and other countless victims of the media.
Vote the primaries, and vote the election whether or not you think your vote counts. And remember, it's up to us to defend our own convictions regardless of what we see going on around us. |
