Honolulu, HI fishing??

My father has a n opportunity to work out there and I'm debating whether to join him or not. Of course the fishing is only one of the deciding factors. Any Info???

Boom Boom

I was there in 10/06 for my honeymoon. One goal was to get out on a charter. Did not research too much but ended up on the Boom Boom Boom Boom Sportfishing out of Ko Olina. They had been catching about 1 marlin a day. We ended up 3 for 6 that day. Great day on the water. If we did not catch anything it would not have mattered. The views were amazing, especially at sunrise. Had to get the wife up a 2:30 am, but it was worth it, except for the bottle of wine the night before. Awesome day on the water...

OOO--YEAH!!

job opening is June and he's got a VERY good chance of getting it. Thanx for the info guys. No kids yet so I guess it shouldn't be a big deal to just leave everything for a year.

I say GO. That's a hell of fishery out there, and should be a great time for a year.
