| Great Day on Stellwagen Bank Great day on the bank yesteerday, it was at work with the research vessel and unfortunately not fishing. It was flat calm with a small swell from the SE all day and very little wind. I observed some gill netters and a few draggers working on top of the bank and just to the east. I did not see a single recreational or charter fishing vessel. If we were allowed to fish out there, I am sure there would have been a few around. It now looks like we are going to have a good blow come through and we are one day closer to the opening of cod fishing and running cod fishing charters along with that new Superbowl trophy. Dave |

| No Whales I did not see a single whale yesterday or other marine life. The white sided dolphins are out there along with sea birds. There are some Northern Right Whales in the GOM at this time but more to the east I believe. |
