I have a deposit on it (I'm in a good mood).
I visited Atlantic today (they were actually busy) - my boat is in Hartford for the show next week - but the deposit is down. Once its mine I will post some pictures.
My next fun question - since I will be bottom painting a new rig (April or so) - what is the favorite bottom paint for Clinton Harbor - my last boat had ablative paints (a few different brands). I'm not sure if I want a hard multi-season or ablative. Comments? Favorites? (I'm not new to bottom painting by any stretch but just thought I would toss the question out.)
The only thing I'm going to miss on the old boat was the garmin chart plotter and the color Lowrance Fishfinder. (also new last year) - Comments on good water proof electronics are also my question. (I have friends who hate Lowrance but they have treated me well). I have had both Garmin and Lowrance fail but after several seasons. I was impressed with Garmin's service so I'm leaning that way. (I basically got a NEW unit from them for $175 service fee - and the loaded ALL of my old waypoints in my unit for free) - kind of answering my own question.
So what's the favorite water proof Fishfinder/GPS Plotter for an open boat (they are going to get wet - especially since this boat does not have a T-top)? And since I'm gabby I was considering a hand held VHF versus a fixed mount - I realize the range is not as good - but is the wet cockpit that worries me a bit. (comments)
