| Wood Stove Too old to cut firewood anymore. Hearthmate welded steel stove--a large one-saved me 600 gallons of oil per year. Firebrick lined. $75 if you disconnect it and take it away, $5,000 if I have to do it. I might just throw in a mall, wedge etc if I can find them. |

| Wood Stove Redux No interest? At a savings of 600 gallons per year that's almost $2,000. It would not be for sale if I had not lost my source of wood. And the warm floors are SO nice. |

| I've got one stove going right now in the living room. It's nice to not hear the furnace running! I wish I had a way to get it installed in the basement, I'd grab it.

| No. It's pretty big. Heat a whole small house. I don't know if they make them any more. The wholesaler was in Saybrook. |

| Medium large. Takes 22 inch logs. Takes 2 guys to pick up but not hard to disconnect. It's a good stove, well made. I'm not kidding when I say it saved me a bundle when I insulated the attic and bought the stove. Also, when younger, I enjoyed cutting and splitting the wood with my buddies. Kept me in shape and strong. The heat from a stove is different somehow, nice, and the smell of burning oak is special. If you can put it in the basement, it warms the floors SO nice. The dog/cat will love it. |
