| Marilyn Jean Charters Saturday and Sunday 1/26 & 1/27 Saturday we had a Private charter and took a little jaunt down South to search for some better numbers and Bigger fish as that what the group wanted to do. We found neither the extra long day only produced 10 or so Tog and none of those were noteworthy . Sundays trip was better in both Quality and Quantity The little current made for a somewhat pickey Bite But With 6 rods in the water we managed 25 or so Nice Keepers with a few fish in the 8 lbs class. Bait is getting to be an issue with many dead crabs in each bag and many big soup crabs as well . We have managed to keep a decent supply so far and with luck will have enough to get through the last few weeks of the season . With the numbers of Cod being caught we will also be trying to keep some soft bait on board when we can.

| Too bad the longer trip did'nt produce better . Whats with the poor bait issue Same supplier? Seems everybody today tries to make the x-tra dollar by short changing the customer .That does'nt help you out at all as your customers still want a full bag of fish.Sucks that you end up short changed . ![]() |

| just the time of year No short changing of any kind In truth my suppliers treat me very well Its hard to keep bait at all this time of year With only a few guys fishing any large refridgeraton units ae ooff to conserve $$ so the greens are stressed and the whites never do well after the shead It happens every year clams are tough since none of the clammers start up until later in the year Just a tough time for bait

| Tony, Do you keep the crabs in the water this time of year? I ask because we had asian and greens in buckets all last winter and they were okay in the spring when we went back after the togs.
