Second worst is a tie between L.B.J. and Kennedy. Jointly, their decisions led to the deaths of over Sixty Thousand Americans. In addition, Three Hundred Thousand Americans were wounded in Vietnam. Over Four Million Vietnamese (North/South combined) died. The worst part is L.B.J. didn't let our military fight to win. How can you send men to fight without giving them permission to invade the land where their enemies live? Don't even get me started on the Bay of Pigs....... It took a Republican to get us out of Vietnam by being tough with the North. Now that I'm thinking of it, who was in the middle of a sexual/perjury scandal at the time Bin Laden was running around training terrorists? He only had enough political clout and guts to send cruise missiles. Lets keep it real when we throw around the moniker of the worst President ever. |
