NBS Since misery love company (New video)

Since misery loves company, I figured I'd join the Pats and show how to be a Tuna Looser.

This is what NOT to do when setting up on a school of breaking fish. Everything was perfect and I got anxious and had Ruge "Give us a little more speed". We mis-judged the speed of the school of fish and................

Glad you posted this Terry. IMO learning to fish is as much or more about learning what NOT to do as much as it is learning what TO do. My philosophy is there are really only a handful of things you need to learn to do it right, but there are a MILLION things you can do wrong. I could learn from this stuff all day.

BTW I hope you caught that "Land Tuna" last night ;)

Good talking to you last night Mike. That was the video I told you about.

...and yes, after ripping off over 1,500 yards @ nearly 100 mph I was able to reel that one in last night

The pleasure was all Mine Terry. Thanks a bunch for the advice. I will talk it over with my fishing pals about having you guide.

You know what would be great is to put this Tuna video and the other one you recently posted (the successful one ;) ) together in the same post. Even as a complete newbie I can see important differences when you watch them.

Wink

happens to the best of us positive thing though is that you now know not to approach a school of tuna like that.
