Hi,

VRC-Rods chose my favorite blank. I love to fish that one. I think it has one of the most sensitive tips I have ever used and it fishes like a light weight rod. Mine has taken an 80# yellow fin tuna when used by a friend.

Most of my customers will choose the CGBT 84 1M blank instead. They like it better and it is a great blank that will handle 20+ oz of sinkers although it does not look it.

For an inexpensive blank give the Batson Forecast SWB70MH a try, E Glass Fiberglas. My customers like that one also. It will also double as a tog rod as well as the Tri Flex choices.
