Keys Report

Got back from Cudjoe Key yesterday. The weather was fabulous for the most part with light winds and temps in the high 80s. We chartered 2 boats while down there. Sunday we went flats fishing and saw plenty of permit tailing but we couldn't get them to eat. Lots of nice scenery anyway. Tuesday we went out with Key Limey Charters. I would reccommend Capt. Tony to anyone heading down that way, he is top notch. We only booked a half day but he made the most of it. We were in a 33' contender with triplet 300 verados so needless to say we got to the grounds quick. The hardfighting kingfish kept us very busy and then we got on a rockpile for some hot bottomfishing with a variety of species coming aboard. Now it's time to get ready for our season, it can't come quick enough! I have more pics on the way.
