| On The Edge, I tried to get to that ramp once towing and it was a royal PITA.......lots of small side streets, busy streets etc......if I remember correctly, but could have been going the wrong way too....... Someone also told me to launch at the North River????? Not sure about that ramp either. This was years back and it just so happened that on this given day GH had an extreme low tide and I didn't pay attention to the tides ![]() I remember this because some guy backed down the GH ramp, slammed the brakes, and sent his boat half in the water, and half on the ramp ![]()

| At least he got half way in the water . This past season Hoop and i showed up to the Falmouth ramp to head out for a day of sharkin on a saturday morning to find some guy and his son slid thier 19' CC off the trailer in the middle of a single wide ramp about 40' short of the water. Took a towtruck and 2 cops about 2 hours to get it back on the trailer and out of the middle of the ramp.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dude was bummin hard

Yes, I was just getting around to advertising them. The amount of success last year has sparked a whole new fishery for me, and a few other six pack charters as well. I plan on running day and night trips out of Hyannis, MA this year. I am booked solid already from May1st through may 11th for day trips. I also plan on doing night trips up there. I have two charter captains who will handle the night runs here in Newport. Capt. Paul triolo of Amanda charters, and possibly NBS Charter Capt. Mike Neto, will be doing the nightly squidding locally. I am making arrangements to do some night trips out of Hyannis as well. The run usually coincides best with the moons of may, most years from May1-5th through the next moonphase after it heats up. Last years went a full 20 days, and this years shows signs of being another good year(I have good intel )I hope to add a full schedule of availability for nights, both weekend and weekday up in Hyannis as well. For some reason the day bite locally is tough to get on, the action is 90% at night for consistency.....I was a zombie last year with 17 trips in 20 nights and a bunch of daytime fishinh thrown in!

| I Might Just Get Out There Hi Guys, Sorry I have not piped in on this yet but I have been busy. I may get out there on the first but have charters on 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Save a few fish for me will you. Here is some suggestions for the guys trailering to Green Harbor. Mike Demeo is the Harbormaster and runs a great operation, the ramp is two wide with floats for folks to tie off to. If you don't need fuel on way in and coming in from south you can get off at Route 14 and it is about a 12 minute ride down to the ramps. Make sure you have everything though as nothing is open in the area except the coffee shack at 0500 down by GH Marina and maybe Green Harbor Bait and Tackle. Bob has a great selection of stuff for tuna and cod so check him out if going by. If you need fuel take Marshfield Exit, 12 and between you and the harbor you will have Tedeschis Market (24 hrs) First Stop Coffee (0400), plenty of gas stations including Hess, Moblil, Shell all open early to top off if needed. Easy transit out of the harbor, just watch ledges to the northeast like Bartlett Rock. Good Luck and I will see you out there. Capt Dave |
