You don't ever have to ask me twice.
For those fishing the stern-I was jiggin' a 17 oz vike with a mustad hook dropper with a red tube when my fish slammed the jig and hooked on the bridge of the nose. He was peelin drag away from me and then took a turn forthe bow. Everyone saw I had a good fish and watched my progress[or lack of]. Terry asked if I could walk the bow and thanks to the great group of guys that enjoyed the smart end of the boat I made it around. As I fought the fish up it was coming to the surface like a tired bass. When I finally saw it surface we all noticed it seemed to be tail wrapped. I think Terry gave it a lip/gill gaff and asked for a second. I think it was relentless Dave who stuck it with the second gaff. When it hit the deck we all saw the tiny dropper skin hooked with a single lasso around the tail and my now double hook jig swingin' free and a broken hook in the nose.
My thanks to the bow fishing team for makin it happen- I gave the meat to Woody and kept the ears[otoliths] for my daughters new earings.
