My 80 year old father is selling his 1998 Ford Taurus 4 door sedan. It has 116K miles. Here's the story. I had this car from new, drove it for 2 years and put around 50K miles on it. It was my company car. My father has had it ever since.
I don't think there's any significant rust, but the paint is kind of faded a bit and has some scratch marks, but it's 10 years old. He'd spent a lot of money keeping it in good shape. I know it had a new tranny a couple years ago, brakes, starter, etc.... He didn't skimp on it and it runs very well. It's got all the other bells and whistles, A/C, AM/FM cassette, electric windows, etc.....
