What have you got to say about the topic of: "winter flounder opener-08". Here's how is started: "is there anyone out there that can tell me if the mouth of the connecticut "

| slack tide does not seem to produce but if its going or coming it will most likely improve the bite. I do most of my fishing for them in the groton or niantic area but I have heard good things about the mouth of the CT river . my suggestion for that area would be to fish the great island launch up in the estuaries and shallows. you will need a boat or yak to fish this area but i have done very well in here for summer flounder(fluke) and it just seems like it would be a great place to pick up some nice winter flats as well. ![]() |
