I found fishing rods

One night I was driving around and I seen these fishing rod by the trash. So I asked them if they were throwing them out and they said yes. So I took about 5 of them but one of the eyes are missing off of one of the rods. So how much would it cost just to fix one of the eyes its the top of the rod. -- Justmako

What kind of rods are they? Are they worth fixing up?

Depending on the rods .Are they salt water or fresh water rods? You can get the tips at any local tackle shop anywhere from 1 buck to 5 or 6 bucks .

I think they are salt water its a Garica rod

I am not too fussy as to how my tackle looks, as long as it works. I ended up with a bunch of rods when a defective gallon of blue bottom paint spilled all over them and they could not be sold. Just about any decent tackle store, or mail order house should be able to fix you up for next to nothing. When my favorite rod's tip broke, I went into a Mom and Pop tackle store to purchase a matching tip guide, as I wanted to get the rod back in action quickly. Not only did they sell me the tip, they put in on for just the cost of the hardware. It takes slightly longer for a guide, but it is still no big deal unless you are a perfectionist and have to have everything, including the winding, match perfectly. Typically, the hardware most fishermen purchase to repair their rods is of better quality than what was originally put on by the manufacturer. I must look sort of silly when I am out there fishing with a rod butt that is partly colored blue, but I will never have barnacles growing on it either. Should you need advice on how to go about repairing your tackle just ask this form. You might get twenty different answers, but any of them will solve your problem.

Most private tackle shops will repair tips. Heck if you do the research you can replace that tip yourself.

eyes are not abig problem.most b&t can do this.tips are easy remove old clean and replace.not to expensive!as scup said doesnt matter how it looks just as long as it works!!good luck!
