'Mad Fin' Bill's In!

Hi All,
I ended up fishing in ESPN's 'Mad Fin' series in Key West- March 19, 20, 21.
Made it to the Finals....

Here are the links to the 'Mad Fin' series:

Madfin | About The Series

Madfin | Teams

Madfin | TV Schedule

The first of the six part series will be repeated again this upcoming Saturday- per the above schedule- and then go through that twice a week format with the series being rebroadcast six times over the course of 36 weeks.

I went down to Key West with the goal of reaching day three- 'The Finals' and achieved that goal. All of the guys participating in the 'Mad Fin' tournament are at the top of their game. However, there were no pretentious behavior as they were all easy going individuals who fish hard, but leave the competitive drive behind (more or less) once they're off the boat.
My partner, Rob Fordyce is one focused, intense individual who is a highly knowledgeable angler and masterful boat handler. Doing 70+ mph over flats with only 1 1/2 feet of water in a 29 ft Sea Hunter CC is a thrill for someone who spends a whole lot of time off the RI coastline in deep draft vessels.
It was a true privilege being asked to fish in this event.. and one that I'll never forget as it truly was one of the highlights of my angling career as a licensed captain.

I love 'reality' tv:

Bill
