They should reach eastern long island next week. I have the jigs ready and my dock space reserved.

Can't wait, we usually start getting them around the first of May. Last year was a pretty good year.

Early yet....the 1st of May is a god target, there may be a few smaller pods around the last week of April, but usually spotty.

They come in from the east, and move out to spawn once they hit the inshore curves.

I will be running trips out of Hyannis during the day, and have a bunch of nightime openings. Both my boats in Newport are almost full for the night run, because my coconut partner captain did a fishing show blowout to get bookings this year...

Alloy, I am working on getting you guys the 9th out of Newport with a good friend of mine who runs a charter outfit. Stay tuned...

Anyone else looking to get in on the ink filled fun, give me a shout or PM me, and we can get you out up in Hyannis at night.

Dom

LOL not as early as you are! The old man is out galavanting this month into first week of May. We have to paint the bottom (all of maybe 2 hours) and strip the shrink. That should be about it other than the simple spring commissioning. We're good about doing all other stuff in the fall so it's turnkey.
