technology has changed, no reason we can't harvest our own petroleum and REFINE it in an environmentally friendly manor. carabou will still graze in the shadow of a pipeline & what's wrong with a refinery on a closed military base?
a few new nuclear plants would would also be nice. (safe & clean...barring accidents)
i'm all for conservation, mother nature, & alternative energy (except ethanol from food sources) drill 'em and build 'em NOW! send private-jet flying, suv limo-traveling, hypocritical elitists preaching inconvenient truths (money-making lies) all straight to hell.
ranting aside.....does using our own resources only make sense to me??
