for fluke spro bucktail jigs worked amazing for me last season. I had real good success with green shad and blue shad colors. What I did was make a hi lo rig with 2 dropper loops and a sinker loop and put on the spros in size 3/8oz- 3/4 oz and then a sinker with the weight i needed for the day and this was very successful for me.

So you use a sinker at the bottom of the rig with two spro's on the dropper loops? Interesting.....I usually use the jig as the sinker with some sort of small fly teaser with a blade and beads above it.....

I tried using a bigger spro on the bottom as my weight like 2-4oz one and a smaller spro on top and I lost so many fish on this rig. I feel that the reason being was the hooks are too big on the larger spros. On the smaller jigs I don't lose 3/4 as many fish. Another reason for this style rig is where we fish sometimes we have to have 8oz or better but usually 4oz is what I end up using on most days for a sinker.
