Well, I spent the day down working on the boat today, at ARC-TEK's shop. I had to replace the stern panel, as it was majorly rotted and falling apart on the port side. In doing this, I also had to rip out the port and starboard panels to get to the stern one. They had seen their better days too, and were in poor condition, so at Jim's suggestion, I just tossed them and replaced them with only a 4.5" lip edge at the bottom, made from the same 0.5" material I used for the stern panel. I wish I had pictures of the before, but suffice it to say, this looks much better, and will never rot. It also makes the interior of the boat appear even bigger. I've still got to clean up the wiring, which I will do either next week or when she hits the water in the slip, as I still have alot of work to do before splash down (install jack plate for motor, sand down bracket to prime and paint)
