Ja Hootie, I've casted at tuna a few times, all though i only hooked up once for a few brief seconds, I have found that ocean lures makes an incredible plug that needs no hardware changes to stand up to BFT. They have poppers, pencils and others that mimic sandeels and herring, and personally I think the colors they come in are fantastic and really do match the hatch. They are a bit pricey, but I think an out of the box lure that needs no adjustment is well worth it. I hear the white 9" sluggo types are also doing well with the presence of sandeels in the area. Good luck, I'm trying to get out there for friday too, but the forecast isnt looking too promising Fred Lavitman "CHAISIN TAIL"
