'tis the season,
last night, craving meat & fish i created a surf & turf from the local bounty. a nice venison loin marinated in terriaki soy, butterflyed into steaks & sauteed to perfection (rare to medium rare)....tautog poached ala poor mans lobster over rice, covered with garlic & herb butter sauce.....fresh asparagus & a hearty red wine topped off the northeast outdoorsmans gourmet delicacy.
